This is the first intaglio print I ever did. Even in 2002, I was into anthropomorphized animals. I think I had Gary Larson (the Far Side) in mind when I sketched out the idea. Gary Larson's drawing probably would have had the bear's and hunter's roles reversed. My animals inhabit their own world--no humans to mess it up. Feel free to interpret the characters, their jobs and what they're talking about, however you wish. I have my own stories.
